Raw Sucked, Case Closed.

Shawn Michaels showed why he is in fact GOD though. They have built some of these SummerSlam matches real poorly. Nothing for Edge/Matt last night except a video package. Benoit/Jordan was just now thrown together after 2 weeks of them not even feuding on Smackdown. Jericho has yet to go over in a match with Cena as Carlito has played the goat. Taker/Orton has been all video for the most part. WWE has just dropped storylines like Show/Masters or Masters/Benjamin. They have killed the tag division more by having Conway beat 1/2 of the champs and Show beat the only other team on the show. I'm still getting SummerSlam because im not paying full price, so cant go wrong with it. Oh ya, SHAWN MICHAELS IS GOD!

Ive been in bed all day not feeling well for th most part. Im just gonna lay down for the night and hope I feel better tomorrow. Poker is on all night tonight so cant go wrong there. Ill most likely be online late tonight like always.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Sin City (my favorite movie of the year) came out on DVD today. I was planning on picking this up until I found out that there are no special features on it. The movie is probably worth 20 dollars but it is said that a Deluxe Edition of the DVD will be released shortly so Ill hold out. Sin City is still worth the rental for those who have yet to see the movie.

Ok so I was chillin with Mike today and it was a typical day for us. We hung out, ate some food (we actually cooked a pizza), and played some Madden. We (more me than him) wanted to chill with Scott (who we dont like too much but has his moments). Now we dont like him much because he's 20 with license (his sister who is 16 just got her liscense). So we just like to drive around with him and blare rap music, thus pissing him off. So we go to hang out today and as I pull up to his house we see his sister leave. I congratulate her on getting her license and then move my car out of the driveway. Before she leaves I ask if Scott is home and she says yes, he's upstairs. We ring the doorbell and his Grandma answers. She states that he just left with Jordan (his sister). Too bad we saw Jordan leave on her own. She then states that he is sleeping, whatever. Mike says that he saw Scott in the window and when Mike spotted him, he ran off. Now Scott has me blocked on AIM, thats fine. He has Mike blocked as well, Mike doesn't care. So it's not like we can talk to him about this situation. Now I have no problem with somebody not wanting to hang out with me and Mike. We cause trouble and a lot of it. We have done bad stuff to Scott (stuff I wont get into now) but I thought everything was cleared up between us 3 after a certain night (again, different time and story). The problem I have is him telling his Grandma to lie to us. If you dont want to hang out with Mike and I, just say so. Use the ol "I dont feel good" excuse. We know you feel fine but we also know that you dont want to chill today. Dont have your grandma lie for you. Not everyone likes everyone, I understand this. He clearly doesnt like us because he blocked us among other stuff. Say you dont like us, thats it. Dont block us for no reason and dont lie to us through another person. We caught you on the lie Scott, now we want an reason that Im sure we shall never get.

Ok, aside from that its a good TV Monday. Football is about to start as the Owens-less Eagles take on the Steelers. Any football is good football. I'll be watching the game and flipping to Madden up until 9 when Raw starts. Then its Football and Raw until 10 when my new favorite show, Laguna Beach, is on. Thats right, Laguna Beach, sue me. Then I shall watch the episode of Hogan Knows Best that I missed last night at 11:30. So im TV set for the night.

The Sacrifice Torrent is downloading now, Im ready to watch this PPV. Column Preview for those who care: Kazarian, Rhino/Raven, TWC, and whatever else.

So ill make this short and sweet:

Time Warner won't let me get the TNA PPV now because "it's not programmed in their system." I dont know what the fuck this means I just know that I can't get the PPV and can't do the coverage. This really pisses me off as I was looking foward to watch the event and do the report. Now I can't do either. This is fucking stupid.

FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the Panthers kick off their pre-season tonight against the Redskins in about 2 hours. I've been amped for the Panther football season since last years final game. So that's my night tonight. Watch Panthers football and play Madden before/halftime/after the game.

Im pretty excited to do the Coverage for Sacrifice tomorrow as the card looks real good and wrestling will take place, unlike Smackdown.

Yes I'm still here. This past weekend was kind of a chill weekend for me. I went to the movies and saw Hustle & Flow (good movie) along with Dukes Of Hazzard (kinda boring). Other then that, I just kinda hung out and did a bunch of nothing.

I got up early this morning and picked up Madden 06 through a rain storm from hell. Awesome game and you should get it.

I managed to watch Raw last night and thought it sucked for the most part. Michaels has been spot on this whole feud though and he once again saved Raw. SummerSlam is shaping up nicely and I plan on going over Johns house to watch it in order to split the bill on it.

Fantasy Football Draft for me tonight, Me vs my buddy Chris. Should be pretty cool considering it's two people drafting a slew of good players.

InsidePulse Version 2.0 debuts tonight at midnight according to Widro. I've seen the preview layout and trust me when I tell you it's much more user friendly than the current version. I'll put the link up when it goes up tonight.

And finally Todd Bertuzzi was re-instated by the NHL yesterday. Everyone knows about the Bertuzzi incident just by watching ESPN the week after the event. I'm not gonna pull any punches. I Hate Todd Bertuzzi. It's that simple. He thugly took out a young player on my team (Steve Moore) and most likely ended Moore's career. Bertuzzi got 20 games for this act. He was suspended the rest of the 03-04 regular season and the NHL playoffs in which the Canucks were gone from in the 2nd round. 20 Games for ending a mans career and no doubt altering his lifestyle. In baseball, Kenny Rogers got 20 games (now reduced to 13) for pushing around a camera man. The camera man can still live a normal life. He was not physically harmed in any way. Steve Moore can no longer play hockey. Steve Moore can no longer live a normal life. Todd Bertuzzi got 20 games for ending a mans career at a young age. Moore is 26 now. He was either 24 or 25 a the time of the incident. NHL Players play until they are about 36 or so depending on how good and valuable they are. Moore was not the best player on the Avs. Hell, he was on the 4th line most nights. But he could have panned out. He got some playing time with Joe Sakic at the end of the season two years ago and looked like he may turn into a decent player. Gary Betman argues that Bertuzzi missed more games because he missed player in the World Hockey Championships and the Canada Cup. Listen, Canada didn't need Bertuzzi to win the WHC in the first player. Canada produces the best hockey players in the world, Bertuzzi is very replace able on a Canadian roster. Same goes for the Canada Cup. Other like to argue that Bertuzzi missed all last season due to the lock out. Ok, too bad everyone missed all of last season due to the lock out and they didn't commit a violent act. I close with my final thought: Fuck Todd Bertuzzi and Fuck The NHL for letting him back in.

In a quick Avs note, they have traded Phil Sauve to the Flames for a draft pick. My thought? Thank god. Sauve, along with Skoula, were the two people I didn't like on the Avs due to their poor play. They're gone and I couldn't be happier.

I will be doing Smackdown Coverage again tonight, Its actually not that bad as the show seems to go by faster when Im watching and typing about it. Plus im allowed to throw in some humor since im not a WWE guy, so thats fun.

Wow, does this new slary cap blow or what? We dont get Foote back and we dont get Forsberg back. Meanwhile the Canucks re-sign Naslund, the Flames re-sign Iginla, and the Oilers trade for Pronger. I think I speak for every Avalanche fan when I say "Get off your ass and do something" Theres still plently of talent out on the market for the Avs to snatch up. At this point, I would love to see Kariya and Selanna back in Denver.

So ive mentioned it before but Ill mention it again. Peter Forsberg is my favorite NHL Player and he was on my favorite team. If there one thing I hate its "So, now that your favorite player is gone, do you still like that team?" No, I just have 6 Jerseys, 4 Posters, 6 Figures and 1 Scrapbook of the team because I liked 1 player. Note the sarcasm. All this means is that I will watch the Flyers more. Not all is bad because the Flyers play the Canes in Carolina so I will get to see Forsberg at least once this season live.

With this deal, the Flyers are over the salary cap and reports say Roenick will be traded soon. I would love to see him in Denver as Roenick has always been my favorite player not on the Avs. The reports say Roenick is heading to the Kings though.

Also with this deal, Forsberg gets a chance to play with the team that originally drafted him. Forsberg was drafted by the Flyers back in 92 and Lindros was drafted by the Avs. Lindros didnt want to play with the Avs so thus the deal Forsberg for Lindros on draft day. Forsberg turned out to be the best player in the league (when healthy) and Lindros turned out to be good but injured a hell of a lot.

Good luck to Forsberg with the Flyers and Avs listen to Britney Spears when she says "Why Dont You Do Somethin?"

Huge Huge Huge Huge Huge Day in the NHL Free Angency department. I dont have time to go into it because I want to get back to the poker game on ESPN. I will go into the day either late tonight or tomorrow.

I have a fantasy football draft in an hour that ive been waiting for since it was announced last thursday I think.

As for me going to the SD after SS, scratch that. Im instead spending the money on the NHL Center Ice Package.

IN BREAKING NEWS

Adam Foote has signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets, improving that team by miles.

This comes with its good and its bad. The good, the Avs dont have to worry about signing Foote now and can focus on getting Forsberg and Naslund.

The bad is Foote has been on the Avs his whole career so seeing him leave saddens me. The also bad is if we dont get Forsberg and/or Naslund, we have also lost out on Foote. GET FORSBERG AND NASLUND!!!

Raw was ok this week. The wrestling wasnt great but HBK as Hogan made everything worth it. That was probably better than Austin as Hogan. More on Raw tomorrow possibly, depends if I feel like talking about it.

I will once again be doing Smackdown this week and coming weeks. I will also be attending Smackdown, the event after SummerSlam (August 23rd taping)

The above link is an article by Adrian Dater, a Denver Post journalist.

It talks about Forsberg and Naslund coming to the Avs at below market value. The only problem with that is the Avs will lose Adam Foote, one of the best defensive defensemen in the league.

Personally, if I had the choice Im taking Forsberg and Naslund over Foote. Not because im a huge Peter Forsberg fan but because with the new NHL, the offensive stars are supossed to shine. It doesnt get much bigger than those two.

Another option mentioned is for The Avs to trade Milan Hejduk and then sign Forsberg, Naslund, and Foote. My first complaint of this was "You can't break up the A(lex Tanguay)M(ilan Hejduk)P(eter Forsberg) Line," Then I remember something, Naslund's first name is Markus. So in reality, the AMP Line is still intact just a new (and overall better) M.

I dont mind this option because we dont really lose much based on previous seasons roster and we actually add based on what everyone is predicting this seasons roster to be. All we do is replace Hejduk (one of the best goal scorers in the league) with Naslund (one of the best all around players in the league.) Plus if we trade Hejduk, we will get something in return and it wont be petty draft picks. It will most likely be a good player who isn't making much money as of now.

I would love a Milan Hejduk for Rick Nash deal, but it wont happen.

Nothing has happened yet in the NHL Market which isnt overly surprising. It normally takes 3-4 days before the big names start signing so I expect something to be done by the end of the week.

So the MLB Trade Deadline with nobody important going.

I was watching the Red Sox game and seeing Manny get cheered and winning the game for them was a cool moment.

Ive been playing the hell out of my NHL Sim game throughout the day and I dont plan on stopping this week.

NHL Free Angeny HAS started. It will be a grey day if my Avs dont re-sign my favorite player Peter Forsberg. Its either he's not coming back to Colorado or he and Markus Naslund are coming to Colorado. I hope for the latter part of that.

Should be a crazy day with a lot of players switching teams. Ill probably keep an update and throw in my 2 pennies just, if anything, to keep myself straight.

So today I woke up and went to my cousins softball game around 10:30. She didnt play to good which sucked. Around 12:15 I met up with Kenny and Jason to watch the NHL Draft at the Carolina Ale House. It was pretty packed but it was an awesome hockey atmosphere. After that I went back out to the softball field to watch my cousin play again. Another bad game. Around 7 my Aunt, Uncle (who I strongly dislike), and Cousin came over and we cooked out and had steaks. Then we all chilled and watched the Red Sox/Twins game. Minus a nap that I slipped in after the draft, I was pretty busy today.

I just bought NHL: Eastside Hockey Manager which is an NHL Sim. Its very in depth and theres way too much to do. Still, its a hockey fix and a fun game to play.

Not much else, im doing nothing tomorrow except relaxin.

So because im a nice guy and OC re-runs, I have stepped up and will do Live Smackdown Coverage for IP tomorrow night and maybe in the coming weeks depending on Brads situation. SD isnt my forte and I hardly ever watch it but I gave it 24 hours or so and nobody took the job. Good thing is im allowed to be TNA Biased, so it may be fun

So for the rest of this week I got stuff to do, but have no fear my vacation report is only a day away. It shall be up either late tonight or sometime tomorrow

Raw was last night. Pretty throw away to me. HBKs promo was money. I liked Cena performance and im hating everyone who has been saying "the other guys did all the work." Clearly they are not rap fans and dont know what "Featuring" means in a rap song. Also they havent heard Cenas CD because its not a solo CD as every song features "Trademarc." Cena/Carlito was average and everyone knew Jericho would cost Cena the match. Kane/Edge was also average minus the cool Chokeslam on the Stretcher spot. They need to end that feud soon. Hardy made him cameo attacking Edge, no shock. The whole Midget Handicap thing was stupid. The Diva search was stupid. Shelton jobbing to Masters was stupid.

Upon further review Great American Bash has been the worst PPV so far this year. It will most likely hold the title all year, why? Because GAB is a WCW PPV and WWE wants to show that WCW really really sucked. Thats just my theory.

Well I stayed an extra night at my friend Johns house because I was asked and I was fixing their computer. The weekend overall wasnt bad as we watched Chris Rock Comedy, played XBox, and threatened to blow up the computer.

Great American Bash is tonight, not interested

Ive got nothing to do tomorrow or tuesday so I plan on finishing my vacation up one of those days

Congrats on your Straight Flush, Chris. The only reason you got it is because I wasnt there to take ya money. There's always tonight

NHL Draft Lottery sucked. My Avs ended up with 27th overall and my hometown Canes were just short getting 3rd overall. Around pick 15 I called that the Canes would get the 3rd pick and the Penguins would get Crosby, man im good. The draft is like Saturday and ill watch it just to see if the Avs pick up some more late bloomers (Hejduk and Tanguay went like 5th round and look how they panned out)

Please know that there will be mucho hockey talk on this blog from now on. There has been no hockey played since the blog started so I have had no chance to either cheer the Avs for playing great or yell at them for blowing games. Damn im ready, the countdown begins. Season starts October 5th.

Happy Birthday to John my tag team partner.

OOOOOO COLORADO AVALANCHE HIGHLIGHTS ON COLD PIZZA! Man im ready for the season to start.

Two drafts today, I have a Fantasy Football Draft at 2 and the NHL Draft Lottery is today at 4. Ive already promised that if the Avs win the draft, im taking a week off to celebrate.

Vacation write up is going well but I wont be able to work on it tonight or most of tomorrow because im gonna be at Johns celebrating his BDay but I think it will be done Sunday or Monday.
